When a firm as Onix Moda Mallorca consolidates, it needs to be ‘visible’, to show maturity in the image that shows to its customers, to inspire confidence, to demonstrate a continuous aesthetic innovation and to be coherent with the values it wish to transmit.
A great step towards that objective was to get in touch with a graphic design & communication professional that lives up to this challenge. We searched for the best creative we could find. Thanks to the opportunities that online world give us, we are in a constant #coworking, planning in the distance, forming a magical identity with him. His obsessive work and great intuition is transmitted in every bit of his work and proposals.
We are pleased to introduce you to Jorge Santa María, a graphical designer and creative director born in 1954 in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina, where he nowadays lives and has its studio. He was the responsible from the name of the legendary humorous magazine “Risario”, in addition of being its co-founder, teaming up with three other enormous professionals: “El Tomi”, Manuel Aranda & David Leiva.
Jorge is Practical Applications Teacher in the School of Social Communications at Politics & International Relationships faculty, in Rosario’s National University (UNR). He is also professor of Editorial Design at the Superior School of Visual Communication.
He worked as Art Director in Santiago, Chile from Young & Rubicam, McCann Erickson & J. Walter Thompson, for brands like Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Nescafe, Savory, General Motors, Cerveza Escudo, Philips & Samsung, to name a few.
In Rosario, Argentina, he was Creative Director in Forma Publicidad y Servicios & Borgonovo Publicidad, working there for Mainero, La Virigina, Bolsa de Comercio de Rosario, Banco Biser, NCA Ferrocarriles, John Deere, etc.
In the field of Editorial Design, stands out the project with Borgonovo where, thanks to the support of Bisel Bank and La Capital newspaper, it was edited “Vida Cotidiana”, a collection of 3 volumes of 12 installments each, that tells the story of Rosario, written by the famous historian Rafael Ielpi. He carried as well the design and production of the institutional book of the “El Circulo” Theatre.
At this time he works in his studio for direct customers, editorials & advertisement agencies.
We had the luck to count with an always innovating professional in our renovation project; we are already enjoying the permanent creation and innovation, always looking after the wellbeing of our customers.
